The students will research different cultures in different countries on the Internet using the links below and answer questions about each country. After they have researched, they will write about what their life would be like it they lived in that particular country and how it is different from their life in America.

Back to school

I am so sorry I have been out of school and I am looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. I had to have surgery last Wednesday but I am doing much better. I have scheduled a test for Friday but will reevaluate after I get back and see how much was accomplished while I was gone. If I do not feel the students are ready, I will postpone. Well we have started the week great! First day was wonderful especially the Ice Cream Social!! That seems to be everyone's favorite. I have enjoyed getting to see everyone and meeting the new students. The students enjoyed decorating their name plates for their desks and I love seeing everyone's personality in all their unique drawings. We are getting familiar with the book with a scavenger hunt about the book. This week we are learning about the 5 Themes of Geography and are doing a fun activity to go along with it. I will try to post some pictures next week of their artwork. Hope everyone is having a good start to the school year.
